How to Root Samsung Galaxy ACE S5830 on Gingerbread 2.3.6 DDKQ8 Firmware

Procedure to Root Samsung Galaxy ACE S5830 on DDKQ8 Gingerbread 2.3.6 Firmware:
  • Download the DDKQ8 Gingerbread 2.3.6 Rooting Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB Cable and place the zip file in the SD Card or in internal memory.
  • Once placed, disconnect the device and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. The recovery mode in your Galaxy ACE S5830 can be entered by pressing  Volume Up Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. You can refer the below mentioned video on how you can enter into the recovery mode.
  • In recovery mode, you need to choose “install zip from sd card” and select the zip file which you have placed in your device. Once it’s done, it will take around 4 – 5 minutes for applying the same.
  • Once it’s rooted, you can check the same whether the phone is rooted or not by downloading the app called “Root Checker” which can be downloaded from the Google PLAY Store. Open the root checker app and check the same, if it’s rooted then it will show as rooted.
Note: if the device gets in the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck on the Samsung Logo, you need to long press the power button to turn off and then restart the process of applying this rooting process.
