Download and install - Update Galaxy S3 GT I9300 with XXDLI1 Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy S3 with XXDLI1 Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware Update
  • Download XXBLG8 ICS Firmware Package and XXDLI1 Jelly Bean Firmware package from here to your computer. Connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place these two zip files in your phone and disconnect the device.
  • Now, turn off the phone so that it can be entered in the recovery Mode. Recovery mode in Galaxy S III GT I9300 can be entered by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button).
  • While holding these both buttons, turn ON your device. In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition”. Also, select “advanced” and clear the Dalvik cache too if you are on the custom ROM firmware.
  • Select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from internal sd card” and then select the XXBLG8 ICS Firmware Package and XXDLI1 Jelly Bean Firmware package which you have placed in your device in the same manner. Once you have selected the file, it will take around 3 – 4 minutes for applying the same.
  • Please note that initially it will take more than 4 -5 minutes for turning the device ON and will get stuck on the S Logo for a while. Just in case if you are getting the force close errors, turn off your phone and enter the same in the recovery mode. In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” for clearing all the data which is creating the force close errors.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.

Download and install MIUI Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean ROM on AT&T Galaxy S3

  • The process may result in losing all of your data like apps, messages, contacts etc. So first of all take back up of all data to work risk-free.
  • Uninstall the antivirus from device (if any).
  • Don’t let the power of the device to create any problem for you. So keep your device charged at least 50 percent.
  • Install ClockworkMod recovery on your phone.
  • Download the zip file of the  ROM here.
  • Download GAPPS.zip from here.
  • Make sure to save  files on internal SD card of phone.
  • Press the VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER buttons to enter into the recovery mode.
  • You can scroll through the options by pressing Volume Up and Down button. To make selection of any option, press the Power button.

Procedure to Update Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 with ICS EHNDROIX Firmware:
  • Download the EHNDROIX Custom ROM & S3 Styled Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable and place these two zip files in your device. Don’t put the files deep into the sub folders.
  • Disconnect the device and turn off the phone so that it can be entered in recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.
  • In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the EHNDROIX Firmware Package which is placed in the phone and then followed by which you need to select the S3 styled Package.
  • Once the update process is completed, the device will again land back to the recovery screen. In the recovery screen, select “++++ Go Back ++++” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the system. Be informed that for the first reboot, it will take longer time than expected which may take even more than a minute.
  • To check on whether the device has successfully been updated or not, you will have to check the same from the path “Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version”.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is by far one of the best and most contradicting devices.
